Amsterdam, 13 July 2026 – DHS Real Estate Investment Management (DHS REIM) has acquired the office building at Alexanderveld 5-9 in The Hague in a share deal structure. The acquisition is financed through private capital, with DHS acting as a co-investor. The funding was structured in collaboration with NLInvesteert and EuroZaken. Debt financing was provided by Deutsche Hypo.
The property comprises approximately 7,000 sq m LFA and is prominently located in The Hague’s Archipel district, close to the Peace Palace and the city centre. The building is highly sustainable with an A+ energy label and is fully leased to strong covenant tenants including the Dutch Government (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf) and Bergman Clinics.
With this acquisition, DHS REIM further strengthens its portfolio of high-quality office investments in strategic locations across the Netherlands. The investment is fully aligned with DHS REIM’s long-term strategy of acquiring sustainable, well-let office assets that generate stable cash flows and offer long-term value creation potential.
Boris Ziermans, Partner at DHS REIM, commented:
“We invest in high-quality office properties that create long-term value for both occupiers and investors. Our collaboration with private investors enables us to act swiftly when attractive investment opportunities arise. Alexanderveld is an excellent addition to our portfolio, and we continue to actively pursue similar investment opportunities.”
The transaction highlights the growing role of private capital in the Dutch real estate market, where specialist investors are increasingly playing an important role in financing high-quality real estate investments.
DHS REIM was advised on legal matters by Dentons and by Amstelius for the technical due diligence. The seller was commercially advised by NL Real Estate.
