DHS REIM and UTB acquire Logistics Development in Ridderkerk

Amsterdam, 17 March 2025 — DHS Real Estate Investment Management is pleased to announce the acquisition of a plot of land to develop a state-of-the-art, environmentally sustainable logistics facility located at Nieuw Reijerwaard in Ridderkerk.


Nieuw Reijerwaard (GRNR) aims to be at the forefront as the most sustainable agro/fresh/food logistics business park in Europe. The business park is centrally located in the Rotterdam region, near the traffic junction A15/A16. Nieuw Reijerwaard is part of the overarching Dutch Fresh Port.


The development comprises c. 34,500 square meters of land located at Nieuw Reijerwaard in Ridderkerk, which is set to encompass a logistics development of c. 21,000 square meters of Lettable Floor Area (LFA). The property will be developed with a flexible lay-out to accommodate a single as well as a multi-tenant set up.


The new logistics space will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and features designed to enhance operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. The development will encopass a BREEAM Excellent label, aligning the facility with global trends toward sustainable business practices.


Completion is expected in Q2 2026.
